Become a foster carer with WEAC

Families, couples or single people who are able to look after a young person in their home may become a WEAC support family. Support families receive training and 24 hour on-call support as well as a generous tax free monetary re-imbursement for out of pocket expenses.

Following your initial enquiry our Carer Recruitment Coordinator will arrange an information visit, to your home, at a time convenient to you. They will explain the recruitment and accreditation process to become a WEAC support family.

WEAC is committed to supporting all new and potential foster carers through all stages of the accreditation process. As you will appreciate we will need to carefully discuss with you aspects of your home life and undertake a range of checks that will determine your suitability to be a foster carer. At all stages of the recruitment process your privacy is our highest concern.
